Real Estate Management Receipts 'heads down' data entry

We manually process all receipts and our users are experiencing quite a slow down in efficiency in the Receipts Entry process.  I am curious how other companies are addressing 'heads down data entry' in 9.1.

Have you implemented hot keys in the form design or found other tools to improve efficiency?
