Last in cost method

Hi everybody, I need to know if someone has worked with "last in " cost method to value inventory. Customer asks why JDE (A7.3 version) doesn't create automatic adjustments when last in cost is used in inventory. It means what is the transaction that supports to revalue inventory for each purchase receipt . If I don't have the right answer my suggestion will be to change to standard cost.
