Account Analysis report Issue

Hi Support,
                   I have an Issue with Account Analysis report where the previous year closing balance is not carrying forward to the current year

Scenario:  Say Eg I wana run Account Analysis  for an Account in Payable for which  the Last  activity happened for that account in the year 2010 & we have a closing balance say 1000 AED as on 31-dec-2010. Since then till 2013 there is no activity for that account. Now when I run Account analysis for that account with Parameters from date: 1Jan-2013 to date: 15-dec-2013 then i see that closing balance of the year  2010 is not carrying forward to the year 2013 in the Account Analysis report.
