Which Software RAID for OVM Server?

Due to limitation I have to create an OVM in a single machine. Where OVM server 3.2.6 (hypervisor & Dom0) is installed in a USB drive and 3 HDD RAID5 as local storage.
Now I'm required to mirror the USB. I'm hoping to do a software RAID with an additional USB drive. And OVM 3.2 document says it supports software RAID. 

My question is what software RAID should I use? And is there a documented guide for the software RAID I can follow?
