Interoperability Notes Oracle EBS 11i with Oracle Database 11gR2 (11.2.0.3) (Doc ID 1585577.1)

 Folks,

Before installing the database 11.2.0.3 in step one of note (1585577.1) in point 2 on the Application tier patch 5644137 seems to be related to Advanced Product Catalog, these directories are on my file system 
e.g.
$APPL_TOP/ego/11.5.0/patch/115/sql

but this product (Advanced Product Catalog) is not used within our E-Business Suite.

Do I really need to appliy this patch?
