What's the difference between oracle enterprise linux and redhat enterprise linux?

Hello.
Can someone please help me to understand differences between Oracle Enterprise Linux 5 and RHEL 5 or some sort of comparision. I know some people prefer Oracle Enterprise Linux for Development/UAT environment and RHEL for Production. Assume if both are same then why people prefered RHEL for Production and why not Oracle Enterprise linux.
