eAM - DUPLICATE ACTIVITY BOMS

We are working on getting things ready for our R12 upgrade next year and have found that there is an activity out there with two BOM's, same name, same items, when I try to delete it via the delete group through Bills of Material responsibility it's telling me it can't cause there are open work orders.  I've checked and they are all complete or cancelled; the activity is only tied to one asset.  Does anyone know of a script or an easy way to get rid of duplicates in this case??
