The following note has just been published on My Oracle Support, with Video walking you through a step-by-step installation of 12cR1 Oracle Grid Infrastructure and RAC using Flex ASM

The series of videos include everything from the initial OS configuration prior to installation, up to creation of the database once everything is installed.  Note that while this video focuses on Linux installations, the vast majority of concepts are applicable to all platforms.   Please take a moment to review the above note and provide feedback.
