Hello

I have some questions about 371-4236 and 7050281, 2GB 1 rank DIMM for Mx000 servers. Please advise if following questions are correct.

Question 1

I assume 371-4236 is RoHS 1 complient and 7050281 is RoHS 2 complient.

Question 2

So there is no technical differnece between them but we can not use 371-4236 as the replacement of 7050281 due to RoHS regulation.

Question 3

We can use 7050281 as the replacement of 371-4236.

Question 4

How can we identify the DIMM if it is 371-4236 or 7050281 ?

I assume we can not identify oracle part number via showhardconf command and only way is to see part number label on DIMM physically.

Howdy, Stranger!
