Downgrade Checkpoint Table to 11.1

Hi,COnfiguration:
Goldengate 11.1.1.1
Oracle Database 11.2.0.2
We are planning to upgrade Goldengate to 11.2. For that we're referring Upgrade Instructions (Upgrading from Oracle GoldenGate v11.1.x.x.x to 11.2.1.0.2 for Oracle database
(retain classic capture mode)) from Oracle Document library.
Here we've two questions on doing Rollback post-upgradation - steps 13 & 15 (in the above referred section).
1) As per upgradation instructions, need to run below to upgrade checkpoint tables
GGSCI> DBLOGIN USERID {/ | <user id>} PASSWORD <password>[<encryption options>]
GGSCI> UPGRADE CHECKPOINTTABLE [<owner.table>]
2) As per upgradation instructions, need to run the ulg.sql script as sysdba to convert the existing supplemental log groups to the new format that is required for version 11.2.1.
