Siebel 8.1.1.9 to 8.1.1.11 upgrade steps

Hi,
We are planning to upgrade Siebel (Open UI) from 8.1.1.9 to 8.1.1.11. As per bookshelf, the steps are
1. Perform 8.1.1.11 FP installation (Migration installation)
2. Run IRM

My question is, do we still need to do the pre-upgrade tasks we generally do for normal upgrades? or just perform Siebel IRM (Chapter 13 in Siebel DB upgrade guide SIP 2013 Dec 2013) is enough?

Please clarify.
