Sales Order Shipping - Warehouse in different Operating Unit

Hello Gurus,We are processing SO in US using warehouse XXX in US operating unit.

Going forward warehouse XXX is closing and we have to ship from YYY warehouse which is in Mexico Operating unit (OU).

Requirements:

-Sales order creation and sales recognition in US Operating Unit.

- Inventory is in YYY warehouse which is under Mexico Operating Unit.

What are the setups needed to do this. Please don't suggest alternate ways , I very specifically want to know if there is a way to make this requirement work. Maybe using some intercompany setup etc.

So basically what setups are needed in terms of Order type etc to ship SO from US using Mexico warehouse.
