'Unit Cost' field is disabled on Miscellaneous Transactions screen in oracle inventory 11i

Hello Team,

While performing Miscellaneous Transactions in oracle EBS 11i for an item the 'Unit Cost' field is disabled.

Could you please let us know what is the significance of this field on this screen?

And how this field is dependent on Item or organization?
Which setting we need to look to enable this field because for some item I can see this field is enabled on this screen.
