Custom Identity Keystore and Custom Trust Keystore

on the keystore tab in the weblogic console there are two keystores reference,  Custom Identity Keystore and Custom Trust Keystore..
whats the difference between them ?
I noticed that there are two types of certificates in the keystore,  Entry type: trustedCertEntry, the other is Entry type: PrivateKeyEntry. do one of these types belong in the
Custom Identity Keystore  and one in the Custom Trust Keystore  ??
