How to restrict duplicate leaves in the system

 Hi Folks,


We are using Selfservice  for Leave submission.


When user submit Leave for same date multiple times system is allowing.

Ex:- 16-Jul-2013 user applied for leave in the system it got approved and available in leave history., later he/she forgot and reapplied for the same date still system is allowing to submit for approval  without stopping

Version: EBS , 11.5.10.2

As per the Bug: Bug 4649074 : DUPLICATED ABSENCES SHOULD NOT BE ALLOWED THROUGH SSHR


It seems not even available a solution in R12 also.
