Text Format on Excel Report

Hi,

 When I create an excel report via BI Publisher everything looks good but when I copy the cell data (eg asset number) and paste it into an Oracle form query no data is returned. I need to retype the number manually.

It doesn't matter how I copy the cell data. There are no spaces, additional characters that I can see.

Any ideas?
