Funds for MDF

Hello and Happy New Year,

It is a new year and time to start working with a new record type in good ole CRM. I am trying to understand how MDF and Funds tie together but I seem to be missing a key point since I am not getting the results I want.

Here is what I have done so far:

1.     Created a Fund

2.     Added credits to the Fund

3.     Fund status is Active

4.     Trying to create an MDF and select a Fund but the Fund I created is not listed.

Does the Fund I created need a specific value(s)?
