Unable to Copy/Paste or adjust data in forms

I just created a Planning training instance for a client.  11.1.2.2 on Windows Server 2008R2.  Applications are imported and most everything seems to work fine.  We are running into one problem in the data forms.  For some reason when we try to copy and paste data nothing happens - no error, no data shows, and the cell does not indicate dirty.  In what may be a related issue, when we try to use the adjust data feature on a cell we get an error message - "Read-only, locked or supporting detail entries cannot be adjusted."  There are no locks or
