Rename asm directory failed

I need your help please to rename directory in asm :

After cloning database prod to dev server, I  move my  databases from +DATA/PROD to +DATA/DEV1  ( set db_name=DEV in parameter file, run backup as copy database format '+DATA';switch database to copy;

I need to rename   asm directory +DATA/PROD to +DATA/PROD_old   to keep it as backup and ensure that my dev database not use anny ‘file’  in  +DATA/PROD  in.  After validation (all datafiles are in +DATA/DEV1  ) I will  drop   +DATA/PROD_old   

 I try :

          ALTER DISKGROUP data RENAME DIRECTORY '+ DATA/PROD' TO '+DATA/PROD_OLD'
