ctx_ddl.optimize_index fails with ORA-22165

Oracle 11.2.0.3 including PSU 16902043.

We are running the following

ctx_ddl.optimize_index('index_name','FULL',240,null,null,null,24);

The following error stack listed below was occurred.  I was unable to find anything exactly like this when searching the Knowledge Base.  There was no trace or core dump created, nor was there any additional information in the alert log.  I would appreciate any input.

ORA-20000: Oracle Text error:

DRG-50857: oracle error in drvddl.IndexOptimizePar

ORA-12801: error signaled in parallel query server P004

ORA-20000: Oracle Text error:

DRG_50857: oracle error in dreogHandleTokenErrors

ORA-22165: gtiven index [32767] must be in the range of [0] to [32766]
