Attachments to PPRs

Hello,

Can attachments be added to a PPR? Our AP department has a requirement to add an Email to certain Payment Process Requests noting why they were paid in a certain way. It's not feasible to add at the individual invoice level since certain PPRs may have hundreds of invoices. Please advise.
