Warehouse Management With Purchased Configured Items on Work Order

I am testing the functionality of warehouse management to determine whether we want to include it in our implementation of JDE manufacturing.  I have run into the following scenario and am not sure if there is some sort of work around.  The majority of what we build is make to order configured items, as a result we often have several purchased configured components that will go into a configured assembly.  We do not stock any of the configured components, they are ordered per job once sales order demand exists.

The process, as we would like it to work, is that our receiving personnel would always receive these items into a default receiving location.  This way they wouldn't have to know what final assembly location the item was needed in and we shouldn't have any issues with receiving item into the wrong locations.  Warehouse management would then create a fixed putaway suggestion to move the item to whatever final assembly location is setup in the movement rules.

Howdy, Stranger!
