payment to a Prepayments in Instalments

 Hi Support,

                   I have a doubt regarding Prepayments in Oracle Payables in 12.0.6.  

  1.  I..e Can we make Payment to a  Prepayment invoice in Instalments in Payables . Say Example, I have riased a Prepayment Invoice worth 2000. while paying that concerned prepayment Invoice iof 2000, I have paid in 2 Instalments, say 1000 & 1000 . can we do such instalment payment to a prepayment Invoice 

2. If Yes say then say I have a riased a prepayment Invoice worth 2000 & Instead of paying that prepayment Invoice in full (2000), I have jst paid 1000 bt still 1000 amount still pending. can can we apply that partial paid prepayment Invoice worth 1000 to a standard Invoice. Please kindly advise
