Can I apply only one segment of a category as qualifier in a modifier?

 Hi,
We have pricing category at Master level with 4 segments. There are around 800 category combinations/codes with the values within these 4 segments. Requirement is to apply a discount if segment 1 value is 'TR'. If I enter items A and B(with categories TR.1.1.2 and TR.9.9.6), the discount should get applied. Item c with category XX.1.1.2 should not get the discount applied. I don't want to enter all the TR% combinations in the qualifiers list. How do I achieve this?
