Hi,

   We are running a 2 TB production database in New Jersey on 11gR2.
   Our DR site is in Chicago having physical standby running in maximum performance mode.
   The archive logs from NJ production database are constantly getting shipped over to Chicago and get updated to standby database.
   I am trying to create another database on the same DR server where our physical standy is running in recovery mode.
   Can I be able to create another read write database on the the same DR server??
   Will there be any issues or impact to standby database in terms of performance and archive log updates? The new database will be used by only couple of users.
