Moving Repository from Solaris Oracle 10.2 to Linux Oracle 11g?

We in the process of moving from HFM 9.3.3 to 11.1.2.2. but have hit a few bumps on the way.  Also, to make it more interesting we’re moving data centers.  It was determined that we need to run parallel with 9.3.3 and 11.1.2.2 and we have to move our 9.3.3 to the new environment.

We’re running our HFM 9.3.3 on Solaris Oracle 10.2 and was asked if we could move it to a Linux Oracle 11g.  My first thought is no since when you run the configuration it asks for the db and version.  But far from an expert, so thought I’d ask the community if it’s even a possibility.
