Attention: To align with new corporate security policies, and to match policies adopted by other communities within Oracle, the My Oracle Support Community access requirements will change beginning September 18, 2025. Rename custom component definition

Working in 8.1.1.10

Custom component created at the srvrmgr command line would not accept a value for Name, rather the Name was defaulted to the same value as Alias.

In the UI, the component definition value for Name seems to be read only.

Can the component definition be renamed?
