Notification not sent when task is escalated

Hi,

I have escalated a task manually through Escalation manager window.

But no EBS notification is sent to employee to which the escalation request is assigned.

I have configured the Escalation Codes, reasons, etc and also scheduled the WF BG process with below parameters

Workflow Name: JTFEC
Description: Reactive Escalation Notification
User: Escalation Manager

Am i missing anything else?
