Updating the Compensation Review
The following, in the JDE HR 9.0 Implementation Guide, Chapter 15, page 161:
Understanding Compensation Review Updates
Select Compensation Mgmt Advanced & Tech Oper (Operations) (G08CM13), Compensation Review Updates. After the compensation review period has closed and the final review has been submitted, the new compensation information needs to be updated to the Employee Master Information table (F060116). The Compensation Review Updates program (R08332) creates a history record for the new total salary change and updates the history table with the different increase types that make up the new salary. The increase types are associated with the appropriate change reasons.

The last two sentences of the above paragraph, as stated, leads to believe that F08042 History records will be created for each Increase Type. For instance, if an employee had three increase types, three different records would be created, one for each Increase Type code (Change Reason) in F08042 however the Change Reason code is displayed as REQUIRED in Processing Option no. 2 of R08832 - 2. Change Reason For the New Salary and any New Job.
