Attribute dimensions in Planning

Hello everybody:
We are experiencing some weird behaviours with Planning when using attribute dimensions and we would like to confirm if they are normal and expected.

Facts:

1) It is possible to work with attributes in Planning Forms, using them for filtering and for showing
2) But when opening such as forms in Smartview with a Planning datasource (using 'Open with Smartview' or directly from Excel) attributes disappear
3) We are unable to use attribute dimension members in Smartview's Ad-Hoc Analysis when connected to Planning but we can when connected to Essbase

Is this the official expected behaviour by Oracle? Does anybody know if this will change in the future?
