Every document and example I have found seems to use a different method, so what is the best/correct way to setup my listener.ora and tnsnames.ora so I can use the service in the log_archive_dest_2 on my databases. Using the Broker also.
Primary DB is EE 11.2.0.3 RAC Policy managed named PRIMARY on hosts primary1 and primary2.
Standby DB is EE 11.2.0.3 non-RAC stand alone named STANDBY on host standby.
I have read all the MAA etc, many MOS documents and everyone seems to do it a different way.
How do I define the Listener.ora and tnsnames.ora? Do I use SID, SID_NAME, or SERVICE NAME?
