In reading page 13-23 of the ASCP implementation and user guide I see this sentence below, can someone clarify this a bit more for me?

"Inventory rebalancing rules do not consider end item substitution relationships."

I've been trying to setup a proof of concept where an older superceded item X1 has excess inventory at Distribution Center A, and Distribution Center B has demand for the newer item X2, can I get DRP to recommend transfer of the older X1 from DC A to DC B?

I've setup sourcing rules from each org to the other org and vice versa with shipping methods appropriately.
