mass update of list price per unit

Hi,

I have an issue with a customer where Requsitons are not created for items which have null list price.  This is an ongoing issue which has resulted in thousands of items stuck in the Requisition interface table.

I now need to update the list price for 3,000 items.  Due to time contraints I have a preference to use sql update to amend the list prices.  I don't have experience of APIs or Item import so not really keeen on this.

Please can you advice me if my proposed solution is good or not.  And if there are any alternative ways of resolving my issue.
