1099 Reporting for Multiple Operating Units
We have a business need where there are multiple Operating Units within a single Legal Entity and Ledger. Each Operating Units completes their own AP processes and has their own bank accounts. The issue is that 1099 Reporting must be done for ALL of these Operating Units together, not individually. A Tax Reporting Entity can only look at one Operating Unit at a time.
We have looked into using a single Operating Unit with multiple Balancing Segments but then we have the issue of Company A being able to see the transactions for Company B and vice verse. The AP needs to be segregated for processing but combined for reporting.
