SCAN listener password

Hi,I had stand alone databases, where my listeners are secured by a password. We are in the process of moving into 11gR2 RAC, where my connections are going to use SCAN listeners. Can i secure the scan listeners by a password?
If yes, is there any documented procedure to do this?
