Asset Split has resulted in negative NBV
Before Split --> Original cost of Asset A = 85,000, Accum Depreciation = 36,833.35, NBV = 48,166.65, Remaining life = 35 months
After Split --> Cost of Asset A = 85,000 / 4 = 21,250, Accum Depreciation(unchange) = 36,833.35, NBV = (-15,583.35), Remaining life = 35 months
Is there any alternative way to split an asset to avoid negative net book value?
Thanks,
