Rapid install require database up or not.

Hi,
Thanks for your help.

We are going to upgrade Application 11i to r12.

We have to reduce downtime for rapid install.

is it prossible to run rapid install on production live server.

its affect on current 11i server.

Only just we have to install only r12 top.
