Solaris 11 and IBM DB2 support

Hi all,
I did not find any reasonable forum to post this question in. So moderators, please feel free to move this question to another, more suitable forum if there is one. Here's my question:
Does anybody know the status of DB2 support on Solaris 11 ? Last note I have seen was a supportnote from IBM in june 2013 saying there are no imminent plans to support DB2 on Solaris 11. I cannot see any reasons besides political ones why IBM is reluctant to do so, can you ?
