Netra T-Series ASR Support
So in an effort to improve our platform automation, we are rolling out Ops Center 12c.
However over 50% of our latest fleet are Netra T-Series (T4-2 and T4-1 primarily), due to requirement of DC voltage input.
About 12 months ago we logged an SR and it went nowhere (logged against ASR directly). This time due to it being bundled and managed by OC, i've logged it there. Surprise surprise, i've been met with the same response. Netra T-Series are not qualified (also same as Netra X-Series, however we do not have any of those, yet).
I find it appalling that Oracle does not support all platforms the same. It is merely an ILOM based system running Solaris 10 or 11. And since if we get a failure from a Solaris FMA telemetry source, it cannot be activated against the HW asset in MOS, thus won't get ASR for something as simple as a disk failure.
