A brasero workaround for successfully burning data discs most of times
I'd like to share what I believe to be a workaround using Brasero Disc Burner on a Solaris 11 desktop.
For some yet unknown reason, it frequently or often fails to successfully burn data discs when using its main interface from Applications | Sound & Video | Brasero Disc Burner.
By now, after a long time and many attempts, I believe it's some sort or bug, whatever.
Sometime ago, on another post, it was thought to be a permission issue (having to run it as root or so).
Nevertheless, I think I have an easier or simpler (or lazy) solution:
First, use the main interface to create an ISO image; do not burn directly to disk right from the start.
