CRM Desktop - Adding a new entity

Dear Siebel Experts,
We are trying to extend CRM Desktop functionality by adding a new entity, this entity is Quotes.

I have followed the related documentation (Process of Adding Custom Objects) contained in the following link:


Quotes are appearing successfully in the synchronization tab and also the new Outlook view is appearing in the Quotes folder. 

Nevertheless, the quote records are not being populated in the Outlook view and if we double-click to create a new record, the new quote form is not appearing. Instead of quote form, an Outlook standard form is appearing.
