Prc interface assets to oracle assets receiving error that in service date is in a future period alt

 In a brand new setup of fixed assets for implementation we are getting this error when using an in service date that is clearly in the current period of fixed asset depreciation period and the gl period.  How can we determine why it is thinking it is in a future period?
