Entering a PO with negative quantity

Hi, is it possible to enter a PO in JDE with negative quantity? If yes, would it cause any issues in receipting and/or receipt reversals? At the moment, if user tries to enter a PO with a negative quantity, JDE automatically converts it to a positive number.
