Clearing Account SLA

According to note 960549.1, "The SLA setup for clearing account only works for assets created in FA, it will not overwrite the clearing account provided from Accounts Payable (AP) nor Oracle Projects (PA) during interface. It's stated in the FA user guide:

"For mass additions, the clearing account comes from your source system. When you add an asset using mass additions, Oracle Assets clears the asset clearing or CIP clearing account to which your payables system charged the asset in your corporate book, without using the Account Generator.""

This being said, is it possible to use a combination of account generator and SLA to account for assets transactions.  In this case we would customize the account generator for the Clearing account and then use SLA rules for the Cost account.
