How to set attributes based on lookup to null value

Hello to everybody
We have an attribute on level Item, based on another Level as lookup. When using "Edit member" method, LOV correctly shows members of that level, but there is no possibility of resetting the value of the attribute to null once it ahs been assigned.

Is there a way to reset to null an attribute when it is defined as lookup?
