data masking for staging/dev instances

We are looking at options for data masking for cloned instances from prod for dev/staging. Currently reviewing the data masking template from the masking package from OEM. It may be useful but could add to the clone time delivery for the instance. What are other options that are being used for masking eg, dbms_obfuscation etc that you have used or using currently with cloned instances?
