FND_STATS does not gather stats on the GL_BALANCES table even when stats is gathered for all schemas

OS: AIX 53

Oracle database version: 9.2.0.8

Application version: 11.5.10.2 CU2

Issue

Scheduled Gather stats via Gather_Schema_Stats concurrent request.

Option: gather

percent 99

The gl_balances table has not had stats gathered for a couple of months

Any pointers as to why that can happen will be appreciate
