Query Field in 'Query Material' Form

Hi,

Application release and version is R12.1.3.

    1. Inventory --> On-hand, Availability --> On hand Quantity 
    2. 'Query Material'  First field / column is 'Query'.
    3. Question is that where is this query-script?
    4. If we have to code then what type of code is that?
    5. Where to store the code for usage?

If some sample code is avialble for guidance tat will be a great>
