how to redirect the EBS url to the new URL after the domain name change of the Solaris server

Hi Gurus,

There was a request from our OBIEE team to change the Solaris server domain name fro facilitating the OBIEE and EBS integration.

The existing URL of our EBS is http://appsnew.com:8006 , after we change the domain name on the server and configure the EBS, the EBS url will change to http://appsnew.aljomaih.com.sa:8006 

Now, as the old EBS URL is placed as a shortcut on all our EBS users , it will be very difficult for us to change it to the new URL on each PC.

Please advice.

Appreciate, if anybody can share any ideas on how to redirect the existing URL to the new URL, which will avoid us from changing the URL on each user PC
