Adding a report links list to homepage?

Hi all-

We would like to add a section to the homepage displaying a list of links to several reports?. I know we can add a specific report to a section but we would like to have a list of links instead.... something like this:

Reports (SECTION NAME)

Report Link 1

Report Link 2

Report Link 3

Is this possible?.... I also read in the support site they do not recommend to use a web applet containing URLs because they might change in upgrades.

Any help would be appreciated!
